Location Hutt Hospital Contract: Permanent, part-time (0.95 FTE / 38 hours per week) About the Role This 38‑hour per week, permanent Level 5, NZ‑qualified Pharmacy Technician position involves dispensing, compounding, and repacking services within a hospital environment. Opportunities include participation in ward‑based multidisciplinary teams, assisting pharmacists with medicines reconciliation, assessment of patients’ own medicines, and discharge counselling. About the Team/Service Location The pharmacy team is well‑respected by clinicians, nursing staff, and senior management across the organisation. The department has a strong clinical presence across all hospital areas and links into the local community. It offers a comprehensive range of pharmaceutical care and extended roles to a variety of clinical areas, valuing professional growth, development and safe and effective medicines management.
