Job Description
Based at Tauranga Hospital – part‑time job share position. About the Role We are looking for experienced administrators to join our National Travel Assistance Coordinators team. The role involves arranging transport and/or accommodation for patients from the Western Bay of Plenty so they can attend services across New Zealand. You will work alongside clinical staff and support patients and their whānau, helping to reduce inequities in service provision. This is a permanent part‑time job share. One team member will work 0.3 FTE and the other 0.4 FTE. Casual hours may arise and working hours will be confirmed. Responsibilities Coordinate travel and accommodation logistics for patients and whānau. Communicate with clinical staff to ensure timely and appropriate assistance. Maintain accurate records of arrangements and patient interactions. Work collaboratively with a supportive team to meet evolving patient needs. Assist with additional casual hours as required. Qualifications Excellent computer skills. Experience working in a healthcare environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent time‑management and prioritisation abilities. Capability to work effectively in a busy, dynamic environment.
