Health Care Assistant for the Papakura Birthing Unit – Womens Health. Paired with a high‑performing, multidisciplinary team, this 0.8 FTE permanent, part‑time role offers rostered shifts in a supportive environment. Position Details Part‑time (0.8 FTE) permanent role at the Papakura Birthing Unit. About the Role Health Care Assistants are the right hand to nurses and midwives, supporting them with day‑to‑day tasks of caring for patients at our Birthing Unit. Key Responsibilities Assist nurses and midwives with day‑to‑day tasks of caring for patients. Provide support to patients and families during their stay. Qualifications & Experience 2+ years experience as a Health Care Assistant in New Zealand. Level 4 NZ Health Care Assistant certificate with at least 1 year of experience in NZ, or Level 3 certificate with at least 2 years of experience, or equivalent (to be assessed). Good communication skills. Eligibility Applicants must hold New Zealand or Australian citizenship or permanent residency. Why Join Us?
