Cleaner / Car Detailer (Casual)

About the Role As a Vehicle Service Agent, you will be responsible for ensuring that rental vehicles are clean and ready for customers to use. This position involves washing, vacuuming, shuttling and detailing rental vehicles, as well as conducting minor repairs and maintenance as needed. You may also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the rental car lot and other areas. Responsibilities Wash, vacuum, wax, detail, and shuttle rental vehicles to ensure a clean interior and exterior. Assess vehicles for any new damages and report them following the vehicle damage procedure. Review returned vehicle gas levels and kilometres, accurately inputting them into hand‑held devices. Refuel gas tanks, check fluid levels, tyre conditions, pressure and tread depth. Complete paperwork and documentation as required. Maintain the cleanliness of the rental car lot and other areas. Work as part of a team to ensure that rental vehicles are ready for customers in a timely manner. Ensure safety and security protocols are followed at all times. Qualifications Full, clean, valid Class1 driver’s licence. Previous experience in a hands‑on or physical labouring role. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, all weather conditions, delivering a high standard of work. Openness to working flexible schedules, including weekends, public holidays, 7days a week from 7.30to17.30. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Team‑player with a friendly, positive, can‑do attitude. Ability to follow procedures and adhere to company guidelines and standards. Benefits $25.43 per hour. Parking provided.
