About the Role We are seeking an organised, motivated, and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our Wairau Hospital Pharmacy team. In this role, you will support the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality medication services across the hospital. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with pharmacists, supporting clinical workflows, the safe preparation, supply, and management of medications for inpatient and outpatient services. Key Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Support dispensary operations, including the preparation, packing, and supply of medications Assist with medicines management across the hospital, including ward stock Maintain accurate medication records and contribute to safe dispensing workflows Manage stock levels, including ordering, receipting, storage, and rotation of medicines Support compliance with hospital and regulatory standards About the Team/Service/ Location The Wairau Hospital Pharmacy Team is a dedicated group of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and interns who provide safe and effective medication management across hospital wards, outpatient services. The service is continuously growing and evolving to meet the needs of our community. The team functions in a multidisciplinary setting, working closely with medical, nursing, and allied health teams to ensure optimal medication use and patient outcomes.
