Head Teacher

Early learning / kōhanga reo, Head teacher Belonging / Mana Whenua, Contribution / Mana Tangata, Communication / Mana Reo, Exploration / Mana Aotūroa, Well-being / Mana Atua 6 weeks annual leave, 15 days sick leave on commencement, generous non-contact Full-time position in an established and well-resourced multi-cultural kindergarten. The kindergarten caters for children aged 2-5 years old in a mixed age setting, licensed from 8.00am – 3.30pm, including term breaks. There is occupancy for 40 tamariki and a 1:10 teacher to child ratio. Seeking an enthusiastic and motivated head teacher (with a Full Practising Certificate) to lead this team. Experience in a kindergarten setting, pedagogical leadership, as well as understanding of centre finances, occupancy and attendance is essential, along with a commitment to professional development and on-going learning.
