Packing Operator - Powder Plant (Fixed-Term)

About The Role We are looking for a fixed-term Packing Operator at our manufacturing plant in Waikato. This role is primarily based at the milk powder manufacturing operation at our Waharoa site and provides support if needed to our milk powder manufacturing operation at our Horotiu site. The role is required to cover a team member on parental leave. The fixed-term period is expected to start approximately 27 July 2026 and end on 31 May 2027. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be primarily responsible for ingredient handling and tipping, as well as responsible for the safe and efficient operation of two powder packing lines, the AF packing line and associated ancillary processes. The role involves working 12-hour shifts on a roster of 4 on (2 days/2 nights) and 4 off: Operate automated packing & palletising lines Operate a forklift Operate dry ingredient supply functions Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the plant Support wider team where required.
