We are seeking a highly skilled, compassionate Occupational Therapist to join the MauriOho, the Single Point of Access (SPOA) team within Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). The role focuses on timely mental health triage and crisis response for children and adolescents with moderate to severe concerns. Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop intervention plans tailored to each whānau. Provide care coordination and crisis support. Collaborate with clinical, cultural, and community partners, including schools and NGOs, to ensure holistic and responsive care. Support children and whānau navigating complex systems such as OrangaTamariki and the Family Court. Qualifications Registration with the New Zealand Occupational Therapists Registration Board. Current Annual Practising Certificate. Minimum 12years of post‑registration experience in Mental Health, ideally in CAMHS, crisis response, and trauma‑informed approaches. Full NewZealand driver’s licence with no limitations. Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and teamwork skills.
