Senior Court Registry Officer – Auckland District Court – Secondment Opportunity until June 2027 This newly established senior role provides Court Registry Officers with the opportunity to step up into a more complex and specialised position, recognising experience, professional judgement and readiness to operate at a higher level. As a Senior Court Registry Officer (Senior CRO), you will play a critical role in the successful operation of Justice Services Civil and Family Court. Working as part of a Registry team, you will contribute to the delivery of quality customer service, efficient and timely case progression, and effective judicial case support. You will apply your advanced expertise, knowledge and experience to resolve complex and technical matters, support the consistent application of court processes and statutory functions, and contribute to peer learning and capability development through mentoring, buddying and sharing knowledge and experience. Skills and Experience Strong judgement, sound decision‑making and a proven ability to operate confidently in complex and sensitive situations. Ability to manage high‑risk or complex cases. Experience mentoring or training others. Contribution to process or service improvements. Ability to work constructively with diverse stakeholders. Resilience and professionalism in challenging environments. Salary The remuneration band for this role is $67,066 to $90,008.
