This growing Christchurch‑based architectural studio is known for its thoughtful, design‑led approach and commitment to delivering well‑crafted, high‑quality architecture. The studio works across a diverse mix of residential and light commercial projects, including townhouses, residential developments, bespoke high‑end homes, and smaller commercial commissions. Design quality and well‑resolved outcomes sit at the heart of everything they do. The Role An opportunity has opened for a design‑driven Architect / Architectural Designer to take a leading role within the studio. This position is suited to someone who enjoys shaping projects from the earliest concept stages through to construction and wants real influence over design outcomes. You will work closely with clients, lead design thinking, and take ownership across the full project lifecycle. The role offers a high degree of autonomy, allowing you to contribute meaningfully to the studio’s design direction while collaborating with a skilled and motivated team. Role Requirements Strong proficiency in ArchiCAD Solid experience working within the New Zealand architectural environment A portfolio demonstrating strong design capability, conceptual clarity, and well‑resolved built work Confidence leading residential projects from concept through to delivery Experience coordinating consultants and managing client relationships A collaborative mindset with an interest in mentoring and design leadership What’s in it for You?
