Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, certificated teacher English Health and physical education Learning languages Mathematics and statistics Science Social sciences Technology Te reo Māori The arts Class numbers in the junior school are swelling as we have experienced an unexpected growth in the number of new enrolments. While this is something to be celebrated, it has created a need to fill a position relatively urgently. Our kura has a policy of keeping our numbers as small as we possibly can to ensure that teachers are able to teach effectively, allowing for strong levels of progress across the curriculum. This position will be created by pulling together a number of children from over the junior school to form a new class. The final makeup of the class will be determined just prior to the successful applicant starting. The makeup will be dependent on the enrolment pattern going forward. We are looking for a skilled and passionate teacher who knows what it takes to make a difference in the lives of our tamariki. This teacher will demonstrate a high level of understanding around the importance of building genuine and sincere relationships to develop the skills and talents of our tamariki.
