Mechanical Fitters Location: Kawerau, BOP. Job type: Temporary. We're looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters to join a shutdown team in Kawerau. This is an excellent opportunity to secure shutdown work with a reputable industrial company and work alongside a skilled maintenance team. Competitive hourly rate Shutdown project with immediate start Opportunity to work on a major industrial site What you'll do Maintenance, repair and replacement of mechanical equipment Installation and alignment of pumps, motors, gearboxes and conveyors Dismantling and reassembly of plant equipment Fault finding and preventative maintenance tasksWorking safely within shutdown schedules and procedures Completing work to a high standard while meeting project deadlines What you need Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter or equivalent experience Previous shutdown experience preferred Strong understanding of health and safety requirements Ability to work effectively within a team environment Reliable, safety-focused and able to hit the ground running Current Site Safe Ability to pass pre-employment checks Must have the right to work in New Zealand The perks Day or night shift option Opportunity to work on a major industrial site Supportive team environment 10 – 12 hour shifts #J-18808-Ljbffr
