Sales and Service Assistant - Part time - Kaitaia Experienced Retail Assistant This is a part time role and availability is required across the following roster: As New Zealand's leading department store, we understand the value of delivering a premium and personalised shopping experience to our loyal customers. To continue setting the standard, we are seeking an exceptionally experienced Retail Assistant to join the team at our Kaitaia store. We're looking for someone who brings at least 4-5 years of proven retail experience in high-touch, customer focused environments, ideally within fashion, homeware or department store settings. This is not an entry level role - we're seeking a confident retail professional with demonstrated expertise in delivering one-on-one service and leading by example on the shop floor. What YouWill Bring: 4-5 years' experience in a personalised retail selling role, ideally in a premium or department store setting A strong background in in-store styling or personal shopping, with the ability to tailor product solutions to individual customer needs A solid understanding of how to guide customers through outfit coordination, home styling and product pairing across departments What You Will Be Doing: Delivering highly personalised customer service across multiple categories Lead fitting room experiences, including expert lingerie fittings and style consultations Providing advice and inspiration for home styling and product selections Acting as the go-to service and selling expert on the floor Supporting the development of new team members through hands‑on coaching and leadership We're a fast‑paced, customer focused environment, so you'll need to be energetic, proactive and always ready to go the extra mile!
