Core Responsibilities Lead a portfolio of business clients, providing accounting, taxation and advisory services. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, delivering commercial insights and practical advice that enables strategic decision‑making. Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, tax compliance, management reporting and other client deliverables. Mentor and develop team members, contributing to a positive, high‑performing culture. Identify opportunities to add value for clients through business improvement initiatives, tax planning, financing, succession planning and other strategic advisory services. Contribute to the ongoing growth and future of McCallum + Dallas. Candidate Profile We are seeking a commercially minded and relationship‑focused Chartered Accountant who is passionate about helping clients succeed. Beyond technical expertise, you will bring sound judgement and a commercial perspective, helping clients navigate challenges and identify opportunities. Key Attributes & Experience Chartered Accountant qualification with significant public practice experience. Demonstrated ability to build trusted client relationships and deliver high quality advisory services. Strong technical capability across accounting and taxation functions. Proven leadership skills, including mentoring and developing team members. Strategically minded with the ability to identify and add value. Experience working with cloud‑based accounting software, including Xero and Figured. High professional standards and excellence in client service delivery. Ambition to play a meaningful role in the future direction of McCallum + Dallas.
