Job Description
The role: Sustainability Coordinator ( maternity leave cover - secondment opportunity ). Reporting to our Director of Marketing and Customer Insights, this secondment opportunity will have you maintaining our environmental compliance and certification programme – ensuring we are audit‑ready and compliant! Partner and collaborate with stakeholders across the business and support the delivery of our strategy, coordinating practical sustainability initiatives and outcomes. Your Key Responsibilities Working with all relevant internal and external stakeholders to maintain and ensure compliance with OfficeMax’s environmental certifications and audits Ensuring and maintaining OfficeMax is adhering to OfficeMax’s Modern Slavery Policy Measure emissions and waste impact on a monthly basis and provide reporting of performance to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT). Assess and accept/decline the submission of products to the EcoMax product range through STIBO. Work with the OfficeMax Sustainability Governance Group and Kaitiaki Group to deliver sustainability initiatives. Support annual review of the Sustainability Governance Group’s initiatives and targets against our 2030 sustainability strategy. With the input of senior stakeholders, maintain the monitoring and reporting frameworks, ensuring OfficeMax is broadly aligned with Winc Australia. To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have Bachelor’s degree in science, commerce or related field. Ideally one to two year’s professional experience in a sustainably-related role. Demonstrable technical knowledge and experience in sustainability. Experience in maintaining sustainability operating and reporting frameworks and tools. Highly effective written and oral communication skills – ability and experience in a variety of presentation settings with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Project coordination experience. Expert proficiency with MS Windows/MS Office Applications/relevant specialist applications. #J-18808-Ljbffr
