About the role: We are seeking a Property Asset & Development Accountant to join our high performing Finance team. This role is responsible for the financial management and reporting of both development projects and operational property assets, ensuring accurate cost tracking, capitalisation, compliance, and reporting across the asset lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Manage development and fixed asset accounting, including asset registers, capitalisation, depreciation, and reconciliations. Deliver accurate and timely month-end, project and funding reporting. Provide guidance on CAPEX accounting treatment and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Support statutory reporting, audit requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives across property and development accounting processes. About You As a critical thinker, curious and with outstanding attention to detail, you are proactive and commercially minded. You enjoy partnering with stakeholders, solving complex problems, and turning financial data into meaningful business insights while improving processes for great efficiency. Proven experience in project, asset, or property accounting. Strong analytical, financial modelling, and reporting capabilities. Sound knowledge of fixed asset and investment property accounting standards. Advanced Excel skills, with Dynamics 365 experience an advantage. Able to manage competing priorities while delivering high-quality outcomes. CA qualified (or working towards qualification) and property sector experience are highly desirable.
