Intermediate Mechanical Engineer – Te whiwhinga mahi Join our Tauranga Building Services team and advance your engineering career by delivering HVAC solutions across a diverse range of projects, including healthcare, education, commercial, industrial, and community sites throughout the Bay of Plenty and beyond. Responsibilities Lead mechanical design work from concept through to construction for building services projects. Produce detailed drawings, calculations, and specifications for HVAC systems. Collaborate with cross‑disciplinary teams to develop project outcomes and maintain design integrity. Manage your own workload and contribute to project coordination and client engagement. Support senior engineers and share knowledge with the broader Building Services team. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. Solid foundation in HVAC design and experience on building services projects, preferably within a consulting environment. Proficiency with design tools such as Revit or IES and familiarity with ASHRAE, CIBSE, and New Zealand building codes. Comfortable managing independent work and contributing effectively to a team.
