Production Team Leader – Manufacturing / Food Processing

14 Month Fixed Term – Maternity Leave Cover

We are seeking a hands-on Production Team Leader to lead a team of approximately 10 staff within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This is a predominantly floor-based role, where visible, engaged leadership is key to driving performance, safety, and culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a team of around 10 production staff with a strong, people-first approach
\n
• Maintain a strong Health & Safety and Food Safety & Quality (FSQ) culture, ensuring full compliance at all times
\n
• Take ownership of daily production targets, balancing output with safety and quality standards
\n
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and performance
\n
• Provide hands-on leadership on the production floor, supporting your team and leading by example
\n
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and positive engagement
\n

About You:

• Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing, food processing, or meat processing environment
\n
• A practical, hands-on leadership style with high visibility and strong communication skills
\n
• Demonstrated ability to build and influence positive team culture and performance outcomes
\n
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety and quality compliance requirements
\n
• A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence
