An intern role at Deloitte is a great opportunity to spend your summer getting a feel for what working for Deloitte would look like. You start with a cohort of people who are typically entering their penultimate year of study, and are wanting to obtain hands-on experience working in a field they are interested in pursuing after graduation. Interns have a two-day induction in their local office to understand the corporate environment, what the expectations are, and the role of interns at Deloitte. The internship runs from mid-November (following university exams), has a three week break over Christmas and New Years, and finishes early February before you head back to your final year of university. You will be part of a cohort of 150+ others, all learning collaboratively and building a foundation for your career.

Once you sign your contract with Deloitte, you will start the internship in November of that year. Between the application process and your start-date, we have a number of touchpoints including a team member staying in touch with you, so you feel part of Deloitte before your first day.

A number of our interns receive a graduate contract at the end of their internship meaning they have secured a job for after university and do not need to apply through the graduate recruitment process! Internships are only available to people with one more year of study. If you are in your final year of study don't worry - we also hire a number of graduates who didn't complete internships. As an intern,you'llwork alongside experienced practitioners on a diverse range of client engagements across industries and sectors.

Your day could include:

• Working with clients to understand business challenges and develop practical, risk-informed solutions.
• Using data analytics,AIand technology-enabled tools toidentifyinsights and support better decision-making.
• Supporting governance,riskand business transformation initiatives.
• Analysing how people, processes,systemsand technology work together to improve organisational performance.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions for clients.
• Developing consulting, stakeholderengagementand problem-solving skills through hands-on project experience.

You are someone who:

• Currently completing a degree in Law, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Commerce, Mathematics, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Enjoys solving complex problems and applying analytical and critical thinking.
• Adept at using technologies such as AI to solveproblems orundertake research and development of solutions.
• Is curious about how organisationsoperateand how technology,riskand regulation influence business outcomes.
• Has an interest in data, emergingtechnologiesand innovation.
• Communicates effectively and enjoys working with a diverse range of people.
• Works well in teams and values collaboration and continuous learning.
• Demonstrates adaptability,resilienceand a willingness to take on new challenges.
• Is motivated to create meaningful outcomes for clients,stakeholdersand communities.
