The Role Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll drive the timely, accurate delivery of financial accounting outputs and statutory compliance obligations. The role drives month-end, balance sheet integrity, and tax compliance, with exposure to board reporting, audit and business partnering across the wider team. Key Responsibilities Lead month-end journals and balance sheet reconciliations Maintain the fixed asset register and CAPEX compliance Prepare monthly GST and FBT returns and assist external tax advisors with the annual tax return Support the external audit process, liaising directly with auditors Review payroll reporting and oversee AP/AR outcomes Manage day-to-day banking, cash reporting and cash flow forecasting Support consolidation across two entities and board reporting prep Partner with cost centre managers on financial analysis About You Fully qualified accountant (CA, CPA or equivalent) Currently in a Big 4 or mid-tier professional services firm, looking to move into industry Multiple years relevant accounting experience in a similar role – desirable Comfortable with fixed asset, GST and consolidation processes Strong communicator, comfortable engaging across finance and non-finance stakeholders Genuine interest in process improvement and emerging AI tools What’s In It For You Fullers360 is a genuine Auckland icon with the scale and public profile to keep a technically strong accountant engaged for the long term.
