Support the transition to Maintenance Operations Centres, ensuring smooth, accurate and timely delivery. Be at the centre of coordination, communication and workflow optimisation across teams and partners. Addington, Christchurch office based, fixed‑term role to 30 June 2027. Te whiwhinga mahi - Our opportunity This is a unique opportunity to be part of a newly established Maintenance Operations Centre (MOC) that processes high volumes of maintenance requests to keep Kāinga Ora homes well maintained, safe and fit for purpose. As a MOC Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in keeping work flowing smoothly through a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment by overseeing shared inboxes, validating and allocating requests, and coordinating administrative workflows to ensure maintenance activities are processed accurately and on time. Responsibilities Oversee shared inboxes and coordinate the flow of maintenance requests. Validate and allocate requests and manage the administrative workflow. Resolve queries, manage escalations and maintain communication across teams. Support critical transition activities and embed new processes and ways of working. Maintain consistency and quality of service requests in line with agreed frameworks and SOPs. Contribute to reporting, dashboards and visual management tools to improve workflow and performance. What you will bring Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure administrative or operational environment. Strong planning, organisational and prioritisation skills with a track record of meeting deadlines. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to analyse, manage and report on large volumes of information. Sound problem‑solving and risk‑management skills, including making effective decisions in urgent situations. Strong written communication skills and experience preparing reports, presentations and business documents. Ability to build positive relationships, influence others and work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels. Proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements with effective verbal communication and teamwork skills.
