About The Business Salvation Army Social Housing (SASH) is a registered Community Housing Provider supporting whānau across Aotearoa. About The Role This role provides essential administrative and coordination support to the Housing Support Team. You will help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the SASH programme by managing tenancy-related administration, supporting financial processes, and acting as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. What Will Your Responsibilities Be Provide administrative support across the Housing Support Team Maintain tenancy and property records in the tenancy management system Prepare tenancy documentation and coordinate tenancy-related communications Manage inboxes and act as a first point of contact for enquiries Support tenancy processes by collating and distributing required information Maintain accurate and secure filing systems in line with privacy requirements Assist with office coordination, supplies, travel bookings, and meeting logistics Support team operations through general administrative tasks and coordination Our Ideal Candidate Will Have strong administrative experience, ideally in a multi-functional organisation Bring basic bookkeeping or financial processing experience Be highly organised with excellent time management skills Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills Have advanced Microsoft Office skills (particularly Word and Excel) Be able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team Show cultural awareness and a commitment to working respectfully across diverse communities Have a genuine alignment with the mission and values of The Salvation Army Our Offer To You An additional working week of Salvation Army leave awarded annually on 1 July Free confidential counselling services to support your wellbeing Subsidised flu vaccinations Discounted Medical Insurance with Southern Cross TSA discount card for savings with retailers such as Beaurepairs, Noel Leeming, Placemakers and Torpedo7 Ongoing professional development and training opportunities Candidates should be adaptable, energetic, self-motivated and committed to our mission of ‘caring for people, transforming lives and reforming society’. This role is permanent, full-time , working 37.5 hours per week . The starting salary for this role will fall between $32.00 hourly & $36.00 hourly .
