Crossroads Early Childhood Centre Trust Manawatu/Whanganui Qualified Early Childhood Teacher Full time, Fixed term, Start Date: 24/08/2026, End Date: 24/08/2027 (Maternity Leave) Early learning / kōhanga reo, Certificated teacher Crossroads Early Childhood Centre is seeking a qualified and registered early childhood teacher to join our supportive, faith-centred team. We are a Christian, not-for-profit, community-based early childhood centre in Palmerston North. Our special character is grounded in Biblical beliefs, values, and ethics. As a mixed-age centre, we embrace tuakana–teina relationships within a nurturing, inclusive environment. About the role Provide quality education in line with Te Whāriki and Ministry of Education requirements. Integrate Christian values into everyday teaching. Build positive relationships with tamariki, whānau, and colleagues. Support children's learning, wellbeing, and spiritual growth. Contribute to planning, assessment, self-review, and team collaboration using digital platforms. We’re looking for someone who: holds a recognised ECE qualification and current (or provisional) Teaching Council certification, supports and upholds our Christian special character, enjoys working in a mixed-age setting, values teamwork, reflective practice, and ongoing professional growth, is confident using technology for planning and learning documentation.
