Te Tūranga – About the role As a Junior End User Compute Technician, you’ll be the first point of contact for our onsite IT support, helping our people stay connected and productive every day. You’ll provide hands‑on Level 1 and 2 technical support, manage hardware requests, resolve end‑user issues, and work alongside our wider IT Operations team to deliver an exceptional customer experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their IT career in a supportive enterprise environment. What you’ll do Provide Level 1 and 2 onsite support through our Landing Drive Tech Desk. Troubleshoot hardware, software and end‑user technology issues. Set up and deploy laptops, desktops and other end‑user devices. Manage hardware requests for new starters and existing team members. Support meeting room technology and onsite IT equipment. Work with remote support teams to resolve incidents and service requests. Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining accurate documentation. Be an advocate for our users, ensuring a positive IT support experience. He kōrero mōu - About you 1–2 years’ experience in an IT Service Desk or Level 1 Support role. A passion for technology and helping people. Knowledge of Windows devices, Microsoft 365 and end‑user computing technologies. Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication skills with a customer‑first approach.
