Job Title Associate Director – Property Finance – Tauranga Location & Work Details Location: Tauranga, New Zealand Employment type: Full‑time, Permanent (On‑site) Role Overview Senior leadership role managing a portfolio of mid‑sized property finance clients and supporting the Client Director with high‑value accounts. Key Responsibilities Lead credit submissions for complex property‑related transactions, ensuring high‑quality financial analysis, risk assessment and debt structuring. Implement and oversee deal execution, delivering credit facilities to property finance customers. Identify new business and referral opportunities using internal and external networks to meet income targets. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, valuers, legal advisers, internal product partners and broader market networks. Provide coaching, support and development to team members, influencing senior stakeholders across the business. Required Experience & Skills Experience in Property Finance, Corporate Banking, Business Banking or a related field. Strong understanding of accounting, legal and tax considerations for property transactions. Excellent communication and presentation skills with sound judgement. Commercial curiosity, relationship‑led approach and high accountability. Ability to manage competing priorities and influence senior stakeholders. Proficient in structuring and negotiating complex credit issues. Education Approved tertiary qualification in banking, finance, accounting, commerce or law.
