What you'll be doing? Our Finance teams don’t just process numbers; they collect vital information that informs decisions and drives our business. Responsibilities Promote and act in accordance with Group values, systems, policies and procedures. Support the finance team in ensuring that all deadlines and financial timetables are achieved. Assume responsibility for all overhead costs, ensuring they are correctly coded and apportioned. Manage the Group balance sheet submission process, from completion of reconciliation to review with FM & FD. Assist with accurate and robust forecasting and planning in line with requirements. Control the quarterly and annual Corporate Sustainability Questionnaire process, ensuring all data is accurately collected and recorded in the submission. Act as the point of contact for the finance shared service centre, offering support and guidance when required. Assist with appropriate reporting to the MD and Divisional board. What you’ll need A part-qualified accountant, actively studying, with experience in a commercial accounting role, ideally within the house-building sector. A strong team player with the drive and tenacity to achieve the goals of the business. Highly numerate with strong IT and financial analysis skills, particularly advanced Excel, and the ability to interpret data and assess its impact on the business. The ability to produce data, understand the output and provide commentary and insight to non-financial stakeholders. Experience planning and organising work to meet targets. Willingness to contribute a professional opinion to overall business management. Self‑confident, decisive, resilient and able to thrive under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
