I'm currently partnering with a highly regarded construction company with an outstanding reputation for delivering quality commercial projects throughout Central Otago. With a strong pipeline of secured work and a commitment to quality craftsmanship, this is an opportunity to join a business where people, relationships and project excellence come first. THE OPPORTUNITY As the Project Manager, you'll be responsible for leading projects from planning through to successful completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. You’ll manage all aspects of project delivery, working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and site teams while maintaining strong commercial performance and exceptional client service. Key Responsibilities Lead the delivery of commercial construction projects Plan, organise and oversee project establishment and construction activities Develop and manage construction programmes, monitoring progress against key milestones Coordinate subcontractors, consultants and suppliers Manage project budgets, forecasting and maintain positive project cash flow Assess and manage contract variations Complete accurate monthly project reporting Maintain project documentation and company systems Ensure projects meet quality, programme and financial objectives Champion Health & Safety and environmental best practice across all projects Build lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders through proactive communication WHAT SETS YOU APART 5+ years' experience managing commercial and/or high-end architectural builds Strong commercial and financial management skills Excellent leadership, planning and communication abilities A proactive, solutions-focused approach with exceptional attention to detail Strong knowledge of NZ construction methodologies and contracts Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word and Microsoft Project A tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline is preferred, although applicants with extensive industry experience will also be considered A commitment to quality, continuous improvement and industry best practice WHAT'S ON OFFER Secure, permanent position with an established and respected contractor Diverse portfolio of commercial projects Excellent company culture with genuine career progression opportunities The chance to live and work in one of New Zealand's most sought-after lifestyle destinations Applicants must hold a valid New Zealand work visa and all applications will be treated with the strictest confidence. #J-18808-Ljbffr
