Distribution Linesmen & Cable Jointers - Relocate to New Zealand Opportunities available across Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Queenstown and other locations throughout New Zealand. About the Opportunities Our clients maintain and develop electricity distribution networks that power communities throughout New Zealand. Depending on your experience, you may be involved in: Construction, maintenance and fault response on overhead and underground distribution networks. High-voltage switching, permitting and network isolation activities. Cable fault finding, testing and repairs. SCADA, protection and network equipment work. Planned maintenance, capital works and emergency outage restoration. Working alongside Team Leaders, Project Managers and field crews to deliver safe, reliable outcomes for customers. Some positions include participation in an after-hours standby roster, and occasional travel may be required depending on project and network requirements. What We're Looking For We're interested in experienced professionals who: Have 4+ years' experience working on electrical distribution networks. Demonstrate a strong commitment to health, safety and quality. Take pride in producing high-quality workmanship. Are practical, reliable and able to work both independently and within a team. Communicate effectively and maintain accurate job records and safety documentation. Are comfortable using basic computer systems and digital field reporting tools. Are willing and able to relocate to New Zealand. The following qualifications will be highly regarded (or the ability to obtain New Zealand equivalent recognition): Electrical Supply Industry (ESI) qualification or equivalent. Dogging and Rigging qualifications. Elevated Work Platform (EWP) certification. Working at Heights certification. Eligibility to obtain New Zealand EWRB registration where applicable. Interested?
