Account Manager – B2B (Full Time, Onsite) Location: Auckland City, New Zealand Job Summary The Account Manager supports the management and growth of key DIV 1000 accounts within the BIC New Zealand business, executing account plans, maintaining strong customer relationships, and supporting sales performance through coordination, analysis, and internal business planning. Responsibilities Portfolio Business Plan: With support of the Sales Manager, create and administer go‑to‑market strategy and manage the customer’s full‑year Joint Business Plan. Account Support & Relationship Management: Manage day‑to‑day relationships, maintain regular communication, ensure service levels, and identify and address customer issues or opportunities. Sales Execution: Achieve sales targets (volume, net sales, profitability); execute promotional and pricing strategies with Marketing and RGM teams; track and analyze performance, maintain forecasts, monitor product availability, and coordinate new launches. Category Review Process: Collaborate with Sales Manager, Category and Marketing teams to manage customer category reviews across product categories. Financial Management: Manage commercial aspects, sales budget, value, volume, profitability, and trade spend within defined limits. Trade Spend Investment: Optimize ROI, balance shopper/customer/BIC objectives, develop and execute promotional strategy, track ROI, and ensure accurate promotion planning and reporting. Internal Business Planning: Manage 12‑month forecast, monitor variances, and support monthly S&OP cycle to meet service level KPIs. Cross‑functional Collaboration: Work closely with Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service to support demand planning, inventory availability, order processing, and issue resolution. Qualifications Essential: Tertiary qualifications ideally in business; 1‑3 years sales or FMCG experience; proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; strong communication, interpersonal, and multi‑priority management skills.
