Madison Recruitment is proud to partner with Hexion in their search for a motivated and analytical Manufacturing Process Chemist to join our manufacturing team and help optimise the production of specialty chemical products used across construction, industrial and consumer markets. This is an exciting opportunity for graduates and early‑career professionals to gain hands‑on experience in laboratory science, process optimisation, troubleshooting and continuous improvement while developing into future technical and manufacturing leaders. Key Responsibilities Perform laboratory testing and analysis of raw materials and manufacturing samples Monitor manufacturing processes and identify opportunities to improve quality and efficiency Investigate production and quality issues using structured problem‑solving techniques Support process optimisation, plant trials and continuous improvement initiatives Analyse technical data and prepare reports to support operational decisions Assist with quality systems, laboratory procedures and technical documentation Collaborate with Operations, Engineering and Quality teams to improve manufacturing performance About You You are: Curious and passionate about solving technical problems Analytical with strong attention to detail A collaborative team player with effective communication skills Organised, proactive and eager to learn Interested in applying chemistry in a manufacturing environment What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Technology or a related discipline Up to two years’ experience in laboratory, manufacturing or quality environments (graduates encouraged to apply) Strong analytical and data interpretation skills Knowledge of laboratory practices and safe work procedures Good Microsoft Excel and reporting skills Experience in specialty chemicals, resins, polymers, coatings or adhesives is advantageous but not essential Why Join Hexion?
