Key Responsibilities Daily Bar Operations Management – Manage and oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the bar, coordinating staff activities to ensure smooth workflow, efficient service delivery, and high operational standards. Staff Training & Development – Provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to bar staff, helping them understand customer preferences, enhance service skills, and deliver tailored beverage recommendations. Menu Planning & Enhancement – Assist with developing and updating menus, including introducing new cocktail creations, refreshing beverage offerings, and supporting promotional initiatives for new products and specials. Budget Planning & Cost Control – Develop and monitor operational budgets, manage labour and operating expenses, review financial performance, and implement measures to improve profitability while maintaining service quality. Business Performance Monitoring & Sales Analysis – Track sales performance, analyse operational and financial data, prepare reports for management, and introduce strategies to improve revenue, efficiency, and overall business outcomes. Customer Complaint Management – Address and resolve escalated customer concerns in a timely and professional manner while maintaining a positive customer experience. Supplier & Inventory Management – Maintain supplier relationships and oversee stock management processes to ensure adequate inventory levels and efficient supply‑chain operations. Compliance & Regulatory Management – Ensure the bar operates in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations, including workplace health & safety requirements, alcohol licensing obligations, and industry standards. External Supplier & Stakeholder Coordination – Manage communication and relationships with external parties, including suppliers, technicians, entertainment providers, security personnel, and other service partners. Marketing & Promotional Activities – Support the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns, promotions, and customer engagement activities to increase brand awareness and attract customers. Customer Service & Operational Support – Provide hands‑on assistance during busy service periods, including preparing beverages, serving customers, and supporting sales activities when required. Alcohol Licensing & Regulatory Compliance – Ensure all operations comply with relevant permits and the requirements of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act2012. Gaming Operations Supervision – Oversee gaming machine operations, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, procedures, and responsible gaming requirements. Other Requirements Minimum of 12 months’ relevant experience in hospitality, or a relevant qualification at Level5 or above. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and rostered shifts as required. Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with others. Demonstrated leadership abilities with the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent time management and organisational skills. A dedicated, hardworking, and passionate individual with a commitment to delivering high‑quality service.
