Role Description This full‑time, on‑site Technical Support Specialist role is based in Auckland and focuses on delivering reliable IT support to business clients. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues, monitoring system performance, and supporting production line and general IT environments that must operate continuously. The role involves responding to support tickets, providing timely customer‑focused solutions, and escalating complex issues when needed. The Technical Support Specialist will document incidents, maintain accurate records, and contribute to improving support processes and standards. Collaboration with other team members and clear communication with customers are essential to ensure minimal downtime and high satisfaction. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network environments. Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to diagnose issues, identify root causes, and recommend effective solutions. Candidates should possess Customer Support and Customer Satisfaction skills, including clear communication and a service‑oriented approach. Relevant experience in IT support roles, ideally within small or medium‑size business environments. Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, common business applications, and basic networking concepts. Ability to work on‑site in Auckland, manage multiple priorities, and perform effectively in time‑sensitive situations. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in accessible language.
