Tinwald, Ashburton PGG Wrightson Seeds (PGWS) is part of the global DLF Group, supplying New Zealand and international markets with high-quality seed solutions. As one of New Zealand's leading processors of seed and grain products for the arable industry, PGWS provides products and services to arable growers, livestock producers, and food and feed manufacturers. We are seeking a Processing Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of our seed processing and dressing facility. This hands-on role requires strong technical knowledge of seed dressing processes, a passion for supporting and training people, and a commitment to quality, safety, and operational excellence. In this role, you will oversee and coordinate production activities, ensuring processing targets, quality standards, and operational requirements are achieved. You will troubleshoot equipment and processing issues, maintain accurate production records, and support continuous improvement initiatives. A key part of the role will be coaching and training team members to build capability and help foster a high-performing team culture. This role is critical to producing high-quality products and maintaining our reputation for reliability and innovation. As a Processing Supervisor You Will Overseeing the Petkus Seed Cleaning Line, driving operational excellence through proactive maintenance and process improvements. Supervising and guiding staff in operation of the coating plant, consistently and efficiently, ensuring all procedures and treatment recipes are followed. Monitor outputs, collect and review samples to meet strict quality standards. Support training and adoption of best practices to ensure success within the team. Troubleshooting operational and machinery issues. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
