About the Role As an Operations Administrator you will provide high‑quality administrative and coordination support across onboarding, orientation, workforce administration, TrendCare roster processes, and organisational monitoring and auditing activities. The role contributes directly to ensuring new employees are welcomed, prepared and supported. Responsibilities Coordinate onboarding activities and support organisational orientation programmes. Maintain accurate workforce records and assist with learning systems and training administration. Monitor key organisational reporting processes and participate in auditing activities. Collaborate with People & Culture, Te Hau Ranga Ora, Data and Digital, clinical services and operational teams. Build strong relationships, manage competing priorities and provide excellent customer service. About the Team, Service and Location The Operations Administrator role sits within Hospital and Specialist Services and is part of the Group Director of Operations office. You will work with a wide range of teams and stakeholders across Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora – Whanganui, supporting workforce initiatives and operational processes that help ensure smooth and effective service delivery across the organisation. What We’re Looking For Proven experience in an administration or coordination role, ideally within a health, government or complex organisational environment. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Experience working with Microsoft Office applications and confidence learning new systems and processes. Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, with a customer‑focused approach and commitment to service excellence. An understanding of, or willingness to develop knowledge of, Te Tiriti o Waitangi, Te Ao Māori and culturally responsive practices.
