People, Culture and Wellbeing Manager Join the team behind more than 110 years of quality early childhood education. Kidsfirst Kindergartens is a proudly New Zealand‑owned, not‑for‑profit organisation with 60+ kindergartens across Canterbury, Central Otago and the West Coast, supporting tamariki, whānau and communities to learn, grow and thrive. Role Overview Based at our Christchurch Head Office, you will report directly to the Chief Executive (CE) and lead our people, culture, and wellbeing operations across the network. This role blends strategic leadership with practical, relationship‑driven support. You will work closely and collaboratively with the CE and the Education Team to manage compliance, competency, and professional advice and guidance plans, ensuring our teachers are empowered to provide exceptional care along with the delivery of a high‑quality early childhood education programme. Start Date / Hours of Work Ideally the applicant will be available for immediate start or as soon as possible thereafter. This is a full‑time, 40 hours per week position. Eligibility and Qualifications 5+ years experience Human Resources/People and Culture leadership Tertiary qualification in Human Resources/people leadership Must be living in and legally entitled to work in New Zealand – NZ / Aust Citizenship, NZ Permanent Residency or Open Work Visa.
