Café Assistant – Part-Time (12 hrs/week, Weekends only) Location: Clevedon, N, NZ – Retirement Village Ōtau Ridge. We are looking for a fabulous Café Assistant to provide Barista and Café services in our established café. Reporting to the Kitchen Manager, you will deliver exceptional service to residents, their families, visitors, and support the dining experience. Responsibilities Take food and beverage orders from residents, visitors and staff. Make cups of coffee using a semi‑automatic machine. Serve and collect meals in the café. Assist the cook with food preparation in the kitchen. Perform general cleaning, including café equipment and washing up in the kitchen. Qualifications Exceptional presentation, customer service skills and a vibrant, welcoming personality. Friendly, can‑do attitude and willingness to help. Mature, reliable and possessing excellent communication skills. Good command of spoken and written English. Benefits Paid wellness days per annum.
