National Logistics and Inventory Manager – Easysteel, Auckland – Fletcher Building Overview The opportunity: A rare opportunity to step into a national leadership role where you’ll own Easysteel’s end-to-end logistics and inventory strategy. Reporting to the National Operations Manager, you’ll drive network performance across multiple sites, leading freight optimisation, inventory governance, and cost-to-serve outcomes—while influencing at a senior, cross‑functional level. What you’ll lead National logistics strategy across inbound, inter‑site and outbound freight Inventory governance, accuracy (IRA) and working capital performance Transport partner strategy, contract negotiation and cost optimisation Network efficiency, capacity alignment and service performance (DIFOT) Continuous improvement across systems, processes and cross‑functional integration Leadership of Inventory Controllers and influence across Operations, Supply Chain and Commercial teams What you bring Senior experience in logistics, supply chain or manufacturing environments Proven ability to lead multi‑site operations and national networks Strong commercial acumen with ownership of cost, service and performance outcomes Expertise in inventory strategy, freight optimisation and process improvement A strategic mindset with the ability to influence senior stakeholders Why this role Enterprise-level scope with national accountability Opportunity to shape strategy and drive meaningful transformation Backed by Fletcher Steel, a market leader in NZ Our teams thrive on diversity, embracing various nationalities, languages, religions, customs, and lifestyles.
