Location Wellington Regional Hospital Contract Permanent, Part Time (0.8 FTE / 32 hours per week, Rostered and Rotating) About the Role Salary: MECA RN scale, step 2-7 The 6 South Registered Nurse role would appeal to those who are motivated, self‑directed, and driven to deliver consistently high standards of care and critical thinking. You will be part of a large, skilled nursing team that provides tertiary level care for health consumers under the Cardiology and Cardiothoracic specialities. About the Team / Service 6 South has a nursing team that works closely with the Cardiology and Cardiothoracic services and an associated multi‑disciplinary team. You will be supported by a committed and focused nursing management team incorporating a Charge Nurse Manager, Associate Charge Nurse Managers, and Clinical Nurse Educators. 6 South is a 40‑bed unit catering to the Wellington central region, providing care pre and post (but not limited to) acute and elective Angioplasty, Electrophysiology studies, Trans Aortic Valve Implantation, open heart surgery and Thoracic surgery.
