Executive Assistant to Chief Executive I Permanent, Full Time He aha te tūnga? | What is the role? We’re looking for two experienced and highly organised Executive Assistants to join our Executive Office. These pivotal roles provide proactive, high-level support to either the Te Puna Ora Group Chief Executive or the AI Subsidiary Chief Executive. As the Executive Assistant, you’ll be a trusted partner, anticipating needs and managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. You’ll manage complex schedules, meetings, travel and communications, prepare executive reports and Board papers, coordinate Executive Leadership Team and Board activities, monitor key actions and deadlines, and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The roles available are outlined below: Kaiāwhina Manawhakahaere | Executive Assistant to the Te Puna Ora Group Chief Executive Kaiāwhina Manawhakahaere | Executive Assistant to the AI Subsidiary Chief Executive As an Executive Assistant to a Chief Executive, you’ll be a trusted partner, providing proactive, high-level support that enables effective leadership across the organisation. You’ll: Manage complex schedules, meetings, travel and communications. Prepare briefings, reports and executive documentation. Coordinate Executive Leadership Team and Board-related activities. Monitor actions, deadlines and key priorities. Build trusted relationships both across the organisation and with our partners and stakeholders. Anticipate needs and provide seamless executive support in a dynamic environment. Ngā pūkenga me whai | Your skills and experience Proven administrative experience supporting executives or working in a fast‑paced, high‑volume administrative environment. Outstanding organisational and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Cultural competence. Proactive and self‑directed. High level attention to detail and accuracy. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships. Experience supporting projects, organisational change, or integration activities would be an advantage.
