Job Description

Window Cleaner As a Window Cleaner, you will maintain all hotel windows in the best possible condition under the direction of the Executive Housekeeper and within established hotel and local policies. Responsibilities Clean the windows properly and efficiently. Clean windows to a high standard, enhancing the hotel product. Assist with room balcony cleaning. Assist with commercial cleaning when required, e.g., filter cleaning. Report any window surround defects to the Executive Housekeeper for repair. Know and adhere to health and safety, fire, and security precautions that operate in the department and in the hotel, as specified by management. Attend all training courses that may be required. Be fully aware of the hotel’s and local health and safety and fire regulations, and carry them out according to procedures, ensuring all staff understand and adhere to fire, safety, and hygiene policies. Interact and work with staff from other departments as directed by management. Display work environmentally awareness according to Hilton Worldwide. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent customer service skills. Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects. Attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and strong communication skills. Workplace Health and Safety Management Comply with the Health & Safety policy statement, H&S policies and procedures, and the relevant H&S Business Plan. Work in a safe manner, providing a safe workplace to all employees. Use protective/safety equipment wherever provided and required. Accurate and timely reporting of all hazards, incidents and work‑related injuries. Participate in any rehabilitation programmes as required. Participate in Health & Safety committee meetings as required. Undertake workplace audits in accordance with H&S plan. Be aware of procedures in the event of emergencies such as fire or bomb, in line with hotel/company policy and legislation. Qualifications, Skills and Experience Certification in your specialised area of skill. Experience working in a team. Working at Heights certification beneficial. #J-18808-Ljbffr
