Location Distinction Mackenzie Country Hotel, Cnr Ostler & Wairepo Road, Twizel Distinction Mackenzie Country Hotel is seeking a professional and enthusiastic Guest Service Agent (GSA) to join our team. This roll is for our summer season from 1 October 2026 to 31 May 2027. Position Overview As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the welcoming face of our hotel. Your role will involve providing exceptional customer service, efficiently assisting in F&B department, and assisting guests with luggage & enquiries to ensure their stay is seamless and memorable. This is a physical role that involves bending, lifting, and being on your feet throughout the day. This position will be a minimum of 30 plus hours per week and will pay between $25 - $28 per hour based on experience. Job Description & Key Requirements Previous experience in a reception, portering, or customer service role would be an advantage Strong communication skills A genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest service Flexibility to work on a rostered basis, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays Well-presented, reliable, and proactive in your approach to the job Previous experience with Guest Centrix or a similar property management system is required Checking in and out of guests and presenting their bills for payment Reservations - receiving booking request and entering them into the PMS with accuracy Preparing for group arrivals , entering rooming lists and preparing accounts for pre-payment Ability to assist other departments when required Deal professionally with customer enquiries and complaints Why Join Us?
