About the Role As an Operations Administrator, you will provide high‑quality administrative and coordination support across onboarding, orientation, workforce administration, TrendCare roster processes, and organisational monitoring and auditing activities. This is a varied and rewarding role that contributes directly to ensuring new employees are welcomed, prepared and supported. Working across People & Culture, Te Hau Ranga Ora, Data and Digital, clinical services and operational teams, you will coordinate onboarding activities, support organisational orientation programmes, maintain accurate workforce records, assist with learning systems and training administration, and monitor key organisational reporting processes. Your ability to build strong relationships, manage competing priorities and provide excellent customer service will be key to your success. About the Team/Service/Location The Operations Administrator role sits within Hospital and Specialist Services and is part of the Group Director of Operations office. You will work with a wide range of teams and stakeholders across Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora – Whanganui, supporting workforce initiatives and operational processes that help ensure smooth and effective service delivery across the organisation. About you Proven experience in an administration or coordination role, ideally within a health, government or complex organisational environment. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Experience working with Microsoft Office applications and confidence learning new systems and processes. Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, with a customer‑focused approach and commitment to service excellence. An understanding of, or willingness to develop knowledge of, Te Tiriti o Waitangi, Te Ao Māori and culturally responsive practices.
