Job Description
Quality Administrator – Older Persons Health & Rehabilitation (OPH&R) Christchurch – Burwood Hospital Campus, Permanent full‑time (40 hours per week). Overview The Quality Administrator provides essential administrative support to the OPH&R Quality Team, ensuring quality systems, documentation, and governance processes run efficiently and to a high standard. This role supports document control, clinical governance activity, reporting requirements, and the management of OPH&R intranet and internet content, contributing directly to the achievement of quality objectives. Key Responsibilities Document Control – Support teams to develop, review, and publish policies, procedures, and guidelines; maintain and manage the document control system to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely updates. Clinical Governance Support – Provide administrative support to OPH&R Clinical Governance and review groups as directed by the Quality Manager; coordinate meetings, documentation, and follow‑up actions. Quality Team Administration – Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to the OPH&R Quality Team; assist with internal and external reporting requirements. Internet & Intranet Management – Act as OPH&R internet and intranet site administrator; ensure information is current, accessible, and aligned with organisational standards. Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi & Equity In this role you will actively support the pursuit of Māori health gain and equitable health outcomes by supporting tangata whenua and mana whenua‑led change, demonstrating awareness of colonisation and its impact on health, practising ongoing self‑reflection and cultural awareness, and supporting Māori‑led and Pacific‑led approaches to improving health equity. Qualifications Proven administrative experience. Advanced computer literacy across Microsoft applications. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines under pressure. Demonstrated experience applying Te Tiriti o Waitangi in practice.
