Identity Engineer

Identity Engineer - SailPoint | 12-Month Contract | Auckland CBD A hands‑on contract opportunity for an experienced Identity Engineer to support the implementation and enhancement of SailPoint capabilities across a large‑scale workforce identity environment. You’ll work closely with Application Owners, Identity Architecture, and Security to improve how identity integrates across systems during cloud migration, and to strengthen identity and access management controls, including Identity Governance. What you’ll be doing Modernising workforce identity capabilities and supporting cloud integration across enterprise systems Implementing and improving IAM controls, including Identity Governance Partnering with security and architecture teams to uplift authentication, federation, and access standards Supporting secure access outcomes across the identity lifecycle (including privileged access and access risk) What we’re looking for Proven hands‑on SailPoint experience is mandatory – you must have this experience to be considered Strong end‑to‑end IAM / workforce identity experience (delivery‑focused, not just advisory) Practical experience across: Privileged access Federation Authentication standards Access risk concepts (e.g., toxic access combinations) Proven ability to deliver identity solutions as part of broader enterprise platforms and programs Confident stakeholder engagement across technical and business teams Environment Microsoft‑centric workforce identity stack: Entra ID and Azure supporting ~10,000 users Potential opportunity to expand into customer identity over time (evolving Optimal capability supporting ~500,000 users) Only applicants based in Auckland will be considered for this role. #J-18808-Ljbffr
