Job Title: Anatomical Pathology Service (APS), Mt Wellington, Auckland – Full-time | Permanent About Us Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is committed to delivering equitable, high-quality healthcare for all New Zealanders. APS is an IANZ-accredited Anatomical Pathology laboratory processing more than 185,000 specimens annually with a team of around 100 highly skilled professionals. With laboratory redevelopment and Digital Pathology initiatives underway, this is an exciting time to join our service. About the Role We are seeking an experienced Section Supervisor to provide day‑to‑day support to the Section Lead Main Laboratory and to the Scientist Unit Manager. You will coordinate workflow, support staff development, assist with quality systems and ensure the delivery of safe, efficient and patient‑focused laboratory services in conjunction with the laboratory leadership team. Please see the position description here. About you Registration (or eligibility) with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand. Strong recent Histology experience. Leadership or supervisory experience within a diagnostic laboratory. Excellent communication and people leadership skills. Commitment to quality improvement, innovation and patient‑centred care.
