We specialise in a wide range of residential and commercial construction projects, including site works, foundations, retaining walls, and landscaping. We are currently seeking an experienced Digger Operator to join our professional and growing team. Position Description / Key Responsibilities Operating excavators and other earthmoving machinery safely and efficiently Performing site cuts, trenching, and drainage works Carrying out driveway, foundation, and retaining wall excavation Assisting with demolition and material loading Trucking and transporting materials on-site Maintaining equipment and reporting any maintenance issues Complying with all site health and safety procedures and environmental regulations Skills, Experience, And Qualifications Required Minimum 2 years of proven experience operating excavators or similar earthmoving equipment Sound knowledge of site safety practices and excavation techniques Ability to read site plans and perform accurate digging and leveling Physically fit, reliable, and able to work both independently and in a team environment Must have the legal right to work in New Zealand Preferred But Not Essential Class 4 Driver’s Licence Good mathematical skills for accurate measurements and ground levels Experience with small construction and landscaping works Employment Details Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Hours of Work: Minimum 30 hours per week (Monday to Saturday as required) Hourly Rate: $25.00 – $30.00 (depending on experience and skill level) Work Location: Based in Massey, West Auckland; work may involve travel to nearby project sites What We Offer Stable, ongoing full-time employment Supportive and professional team environment Opportunities for training and career development Competitive pay rates based on experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
