Job Description
Site Supervisor Hourly rate contract or 1 year fixed term We’re looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations across our clients civil construction and earthworks project. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll coordinate crews, subcontractors and plant resources while ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. The successful candidate will be a practical leader who can make an immediate impact, build strong relationships on site, and maintain a strong focus on safety, quality and productivity. What you’ll be doing: Supervising site teams, subcontractors and plant operations Coordinating daily and weekly work programmes with Project Managers Leading site safety, inductions, toolbox meetings and compliance activities Monitoring quality requirements, inspections and project documentation Managing site resources and ensuring work is completed to programme and specification Maintaining positive relationships with clients, stakeholders and project teams What you’ll bring: Proven experience supervising civil construction or earthworks projects Strong knowledge of New Zealand health and safety requirements Experience managing crews, subcontractors and plant resources Ability to read plans, specifications and quality documentation Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills A proactive approach to problem solving and project delivery What’s in it for you?
