Position Details Restaurant Manager (1 Position) – Full Time Work Location: 31 Gover Street, New Plymouth Working Hours: Minimum guaranteed 30 hours per week, up to a maximum of 50 hours per week Key Duties and Responsibilities Planning menus in consultation with chefs. Planning and organizing special functions. Arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget. Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions. Ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance. Conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service. Selecting, training and supervising waiting and kitchen staff. Taking reservations, greeting guests, and assisting with orders. Managing staff rosters, opening and closing procedures and daily operations. Performing other lawful duties as reasonably required by the director or management.
