Job Description

Office Administrator | Magazine Designer Clothing We are looking for a fabulous, organised, capable and proactive Office Administrator to join our team at Magazine Designer Clothing. This is a varied behind‑the‑scenes role supporting the day‑to‑day operations of our upmarket women’s fashion retail boutiques. No two days are the same, so we are looking for someone who enjoys multitasking, problem‑solving and pitching in wherever needed. You will be working across many areas of the business, including administration, website maintenance, stock management, reporting and supporting our buying team. The role will initially begin at approximately 10–15 hours per week, with the opportunity to grow to around 20–25 hours per week over time. In the beginning, you will be learning directly from the Office Manager, before stepping further into the role later in the year while she is on maternity leave. This makes it a great opportunity for someone looking to grow into a key support role within the business. We are a small, supportive team based in Mt Albert, and we understand the importance of flexibility. There is some flexibility around how hours are spread across the week, making this role well suited to someone balancing school drop‑offs, pick‑ups or other commitments. What the role involves: Assisting with the day‑to‑day administration of the business Uploading and managing products online Setting up sales and promotions Assisting with buying administration Running reports and handling data Website maintenance including creating collections, removing sold‑out products and updating content Supporting the wider team with general admin and operational tasks What we are looking for: Highly confident using computers and learning new systems quickly Comfortable with the basics of Excel Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks at once and work efficiently under pressure A proactive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed Someone resourceful who can figure things out independently Experience with REX and/or Maropost would be a bonus, but is not essential. We would especially love someone who is tech‑savvy and confident troubleshooting or figuring out website‑related tasks. You do not need to be a developer, but you should be comfortable learning new systems and using tools available to solve problems and improve processes. What we offer: A dynamic and ever‑evolving role with plenty of scope to grow, learn and really make it your own. A supportive small team environment Flexibility where possible around hours Free parking right outside the office Generous staff clothing discounts The opportunity to work closely within a growing New Zealand fashion business This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast‑paced environment and wants to be part of a supportive and growing women’s fashion business. #J-18808-Ljbffr
