Each client will have high‑risk individual care requirements, and you will support them with all elements of daily living such as palliative care, bowel care, dementia, mental health, and medication. You will provide safe, respectful, and person‑centred support in people’s homes, being mindful of what matters to them, including their culture, values, beliefs, routines, and boundaries. MōhouAke | About You A warm, patient, and genuinely caring approach Hold a Level 3 or Level 4 Health and Wellbeing qualification or have equivalent, relevant experience AD knowledge Experience supporting spinal cord injury and bowel management/manual bowel care Confident and safe with working with hoists Comfortable supporting more complex needs and following care plans Be willing to learn, reflect, and adapt your approach to what matters for each person Have experience in or exposure to caregiving, disability support, aged care, community work, or other people‑facing roles Committed to culturally safe, respectful support for people from all backgrounds Full driver’s licence Able to drive a disability vehicle The right to work in New Zealand Hours Every second weekend: 7:00 am – 9:30 am and 3:30 pm – 9:00 pm.
